Problem Statement

LPG leaks are a major safety hazard in households. Manual detection is often too late.

Solution

Developed an Arduino-based system that uses an MQ-2 gas sensor to detect leaks in real-time.

Features

  • MQ-2 Sensor: Detects combustible gas and smoke.
  • Automated Alerts: Triggers an audible buzzer and visual LED warnings.
  • OLED Display: Shows real-time gas concentration levels.
  • Safety Shutoff: Uses a servo motor and relay to automatically turn off the gas supply when a threshold is breached.
